Three years from 2012-2014 saw the following number of CEE M&A transactions in Australia:
The acquirers came from the following countries (i.e. the head office location):
The primary buyers of Australian CEE firms are other Australian CEE firms; with the UK and the US well behind but prominent.
Of the 51 Australian transactions, 60% were by a private company and 40% by a public company. The greatest interest from public companies came from the UK:
